Cost Estimation Manager

About the Role:
The candidate’s task is to ensure consistent management of all procurement proposals and contracts. This generally includes oversight of the Projects procurement process, as well as development of specific standards for RFX, contract negotiations and document management. The candidate’s role in the Capex requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, including Projects, Interior Design, MEP, ICT, Architects etc. 


Procurement and tendering
 Manage and lead tendering processes are used to establish contract price
 Knowledge of how cost data is collected and processed
 Understanding of whole life costing, sustainability and the classification of costs
 Implement the principles of projects quantification and costing
 Preparing and issue pricing documentations.
 Create a bid form and capture project specifics
 Articulating project wise Commercial control sheet, monitoring the same and sending
the weekly report to Leadership Team during the project execution stage
 Coordinating with Execution Team and Finance Team to identify, analyze & execute the
fund flow for ongoing projects.
 Interfacing with Legal Department in formulation of rate contract agreements with all the
 Adhering to statutory compliances and coordinating with respective teams for
submission of relevant documents
 Synchronizing with external agencies for techno-commercial negotiations, preparation of
tender / contract documents, cost estimates, including billing, variation / deviation
proposals, claims
 Managing the Vendor performance, cost saving opportunity identification and action
 Supervising the process of qualifying & selecting appropriate Vendor in terms of supplier
financial status, capacity, capabilities, and business in general
 Functioning on the month closing activity and providing inputs to work on projections
of annual CAPEX budget.


Desired Candidate: (Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics)
 10 -12 years’ experience in MEP, ICT procurement, in construction industry will be
 Proficiency in Budgeting, Tendering, Cost Control, Change Orders. Procurement of
Supply and Services of MEP & ICT.
 Skill in preparing & sharing the end-to-end commercial report of all the assigned Project
and their status to the Reporting Manager
 Cross- functional expertise with managing procurement activity by liaising with
vendors for cost negotiation.
 Excellence in formulating budgets and implementing systems/ procedures, conducting analysis, and preparing key reports to exercise financial control &
enhance overall efficiency of the organization.
 Effective communicator with excellent negotiation skills, leadership qualities and
analytical approach
 Expertise in Project Finance documentation and procedures related thereof.
 Excellent interpersonal skills & Ability to manage and engage cross functional teams
 Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
 Commercially decision-making abilities
 Think analytically, ideate creatively, track meticulously, execute practically,
communicate effectively

 B.E in related field will be preferred
 10 to 12 years of work experience in MEP and ICT cost estimation
 Good to have knowledge in Spend Management, Analysis and Reporting with hands on
Excel Experience, vendor management
 Communication Skills - Spoken & Written English. Hindi & Kannada will be an added
 Knowledge of e Sourcing Tool like Ariba / SAP or Equivalent
 Experience in applying organizational standards when developing requests for proposals,
negotiating terms
 Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and
implement appropriate solutions. 
 Excellent negotiating and persuasive skills, both in one-on-one and group situations.
