About the Role

In this role you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of
the organization. You will be responsible to spear head the audit function, overseeing
and managing the financial reporting, and control functions, while providing strategic
financial guidance to support decision-making processes. The person plays a key role in
maintaining financial integrity, implementing financial policies, and ensuring regulatory
compliance and accurate reporting of the financial performance of the company.


Roles and Responsibilities

- Plan and perform operational and financial audits
- Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and yearly standalone and consolidated
financial statements, profit and loss account and cash flow statements under IGAAP and
Ind AS, including all schedules and notes.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and provide
insights into financial performance.
- Conduct analysis of assets, liabilities, Income and expenditure to ensure accurate
representation on the financial statements and profit and loss account.
- Reconcile debt accounts and ensure accuracy in recording and reporting debt-related
transactions.
- Conduct analysis to estimate and manage expected credit losses on financial assets.
- Establish and maintain robust internal control procedures to safeguard company assets
and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure
compliance with accounting standards and timely closure of audits.
- Develop recommendations and reports based on audits and present these ideas to
senior management.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends, process and IT advancements to
automate and modernize systems

 

Qualifications and Requirements

- CA with 6-7 years of experience
-  Strong background and experience with audit methodologies and techniques.
- Experience with a listed Company in India will be an added advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial
reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with
cross functional teams.
- Proficiency in SAP would be preferred
- High level of integrity, ethics, and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex
financial data.
